Hot and Dangerous ( Adrian)

The smell of leather and horse made her sense come alive. Everything about this place made her feel amazing and happy. When she had problems in her life this is where she came. To get away from it all, to make everything better. Her favorite person was here, a little exaggeration on the person part, but favorite was right. Her Grullo mare Shiloh was boarded here at Gemara, she had gotten the mare before coming here and had grown attached to her the first time she had laid eyes on her and it had been the same with Tayler. If she was gone for more than a day, Shiloh would get antsy and not eat. It was cute.

Walking down the isle she passed by all the other horses that were owned by the students that went here. There were so many from the blackest horse to the lightest horse.They were all so pretty and all so talented. She knew many of these horses were champions in what they did. Getting to the second to last stall she smiled as she saw the mare poking her head out and whining to Tayler. Laughing she walked up and cupped her face in her hands and smiled."Yeah, Yeah i missed you too beautiful." She ran her hand down her forehead and smiled as she looked into those gorgeous eyes she had. Everytime she was near her, it was like Tayler lite up the world.

There was a trunk outside her stall that had all her stuff in it. Letting go of her horses's head, she bent down and opened it with the combination and reached in and brought out the purple grooming tote. As she closed the trunk she looked up and saw Adrian standing close to her. Adrian was a best friend of hers and maybe a flirt here and there. She smiled and stood up."Hey Adrian how are you today?" Smiling she walked over to the stall door of Shiloh's stall and opened the door. Walking in she closed it behind her and set the grooming tote on the floor out of her range and grabbed a curry comb.

The days had started to grow longer as the seasons changed from winter to spring and the weather had taken a turn for the better. No longer did the youth have to pile on jackets and hoodies to keep his frame warm. Instead, he donned a simple white beater with a leather jacket. Dark pants covered his legs and for shoes, some simple black boots that he had owned for way to long. It was hard to give up something like boots, that had been around for so long. He was a bit of a hoarder in that sense but you'd never see him on that show.

Hands found their homes in his pockets as he strolled across campus, head raised, a smile on his face. Adrian was approachable at almost all times, he always seemed almost too optimistically happy which made people gravitate towards him. It wasn't so much that he was the life of the party, that would be, if he had ever been to a party, but he just had an aura that gave people hope and lifted them when they were down.

The large barn of Gemara stood before him as he stopped in front of the doors to enter, which he pushed open smoothly and continued inside. Instantly, he could recognize the sound of another person in the barn, which was to be expected. People like him came from around the world to be in a place like Gemara, to not have two or three people in the barn almost constantly would be an odd thing to have. Not to mention it was still the wee hours of the morning when the stable hands would come in and feed and water the horses.

He traveled past row after row of stalls until he heard the familiar voice of his friend Tayler in one aisle over. He heard her sweet coo to her lovable mare Shiloh and smiled. As he changed his course to talk to her first before heading to the stud barn to see Rodney, his stud.

"Good morning Tay, I'm well. What about you? Getting ready for a ride or just saying hello?" He smiled at her. They had been flirting here and there but it was more of a friendship than anything. Besides, Adrian was naturally flirty, for one reason or another. He was more worried about riding than girls at the moment though. Soon he would start competing with his stud, and that was a big deal.
