Snowdance
Registered Name: Snowdance Ball
Stable Name: Snowdance, Snow, Dancer, ect.
Age: Twenty-two
Gender: Mare
Breed(s): Dutch Warmblood
Height: 17 hands
Discipline(s): Three day eventing--dressage being her strong point
Owner(s): Piper Kennedy
Personality: Snow is a complete sweetheart. She was always a mild mannered, easy to get along with mare, and she's gotten even more agreeable in her old age. She's a push button horse, the kind you don't have to worry about putting novices on, because she'll take care of them and just do what she thinks is best. Sometimes she even knows what's going on more than Piper does, and Piper's been riding her whole life.
History: Snowdance was born and bred at a pretty elite breeders, where she was trained and showed at top level. At one point, she was even an Olympic qualifier, but she sustained an injury that kept her from competing, although didn't lame her permanently. She carried that rider on through numerous championships and titles, and was retired at sixteen. That next year, the barn fell on hard times, and were worried they were going to have to sell the mare to slaughter, but that was before Trish Kennedy tracked them down. They were just so relieved to have a buyer for the mare that wasn't a slaughterhouse that they practically gave her to to Trish. She's been with Piper ever since and the two have done a little competing, although of course not a whole lot, considering her age. Still, she was the one who taught Piper most of what she knows about eventing.
