You know the girl who goes through high school with no friends because she's too focused on what she's going to do after high school? That's Ella Wayne. They call her the princess of the Wayne family, even her name means 'fairy princess', and every step of the way she had her family's constant support and the added leverage of any amount of money she could need. Born in Beverly Hills, California, in the bright month of June, Ella showed her athletic abilities from a young age. She was always energetic and competitive, with her actions sometimes ending up with her being punished because she would do anything to win. Because of their daughter's endless supplies of energy, Ella's parents signed her up for many sports and programs.
Throughout high school, Ella pretty much had things easy. She didn't really get close to many people, decided to stay by herself, even rejecting an offer from a guy she liked to stay home on the night all of her friends were at Prom. Ella was training for a gymnastics tournament. Her original plan was to go to the olympics and win, but that dream was thrown from the window when Ella broke her wrist in three places. To this day she can't do a handstand without the sharp sting of pain. Horses seemed a good fallback since she lived on such a large bit of land with her parents, and it was only natural that they had horses. Her horse, a palomino named Soldier seemed to have the same amount of ambition that she did.
It wasn't like Ella got on the horse and automatically knew how to ride, she had been riding since she was six, but those were just pleasure rides. This, like all of Ella's other sports, was something she had to excel in. Soldier put in one hundred and ten percent too, and as cheesy as it sounds, he's probably her only friend. That's why it upset her when she got into Gemara and people assumed that her wealthy, lawyer father had had to sue her way in. Denying her skill is something she absolutely hates, and something that will get you a competition faster than anything.
There's a part of Ella that wants to show people that she can have fun. That she isn't some snooty, rich girl with a father who will do anything to keep a smile on her face. She wants to be liked, and have those friends that some other girls do, but she wouldn't know how to go about it. Especially not in a new place.

"Huh?" Maxx raised one of his dark eyebrows, before placing a finger on one of his piercings, "Oh these? Yeah, they hurt a little bit." He looked away for a moment before returning his gaze and adding, "Not much though." Didn't need her thinking he couldn't take pain. "Girlfriend? Yeah, right." Maxx rolled his eyes playfully, crossing his arms. "Nope, just moved here. If you want, you could be the girl I walk to class."
The kid was pretty oblivious when it came to what others thought of him most of the time, but the flash of worry across her face scared him. Maybe she didn't like him, maybe she was one of those girls who played with guys' emotions. As hot as it was, Maxx couldn't handle a girl like that right now. Not after the tough move, and even tougher divorce. "Cooler? Nah. Cool, if I'm lucky." His blue eyes scanned the hallway quickly, taking in the groups of lame people, trying not to make it known that he was being a lying bastard.
He brought his eyes back to Jennie's brown one's, locking them there. He had always thought blue eyes were boring, and big and brown were much prettier, especially on a girl, so it wasn't hard for him to keep his eyes on hers. Yeah, Maxx liked guys and girls, it wasn't really a secret, though there were only a select few guys. Hayden Christensen being at the top of his list at the moment.
