HH Charlie Foxtrot
Registered Name: HH Charlie Foxtrot
Stable Name: Charlie
Age: Seven
Gender: Stallion
Breed(s): Thoroughbred
Height: sixteen point one
Discipline(s): Cross-Country - Beginning Reining
Owner(s): Shayne Roberts
Personality:
Charlie is a high strung, bad tempered SOB. When Shayne was looking for a challenge, he set an unachievable goal. Charlie has lived up to his full name completely. Any personality fault that a horse can carry, he's holding. From biting and kicking when being saddled to tearing at the wood in his stall. The stallion has a dominating personality when it comes to other horses. He's not so much a militant, but he irritates with noise and small nips. The thoroughbred was nearly impossible to break and even now is troublesome to handle, however, when let to run the track, he seems to put his all into it. As long as you can manage the reins right, this horse will work with you, most of the time anyway. Back at the stables, however, he'll be sure to let loose hell.
History:
Born and bred a racing thoroughbred, Charlie received his high strung nature from his parent who both had horrible track manner. The breeders where hoping for negating effect in their foal. What they got was Charlie. By his first year, it was obvious the colt was taking after his parents.
Without ever being on more than a lunge, Charlie was sent to the auction block. Surrounded by spectators, the yearling caused all sorts of problems for his handler in the ring. Luckily for him, there was someone interested in him, other than the feedlot owners. Shayne had gone to the auction with a friend who was searching for an event horse and left with a grey yearling of his own.
Charlie obviously had no sense of gratitude. The yearling gave the man headaches left and right. From breaking to event training, the horse was as stubborn as any. Even the old Quarter Horse Shayne had would avoid the stallion. However, when Shayne finally entered the horse, he was surprised. For such a difficult horse, he could move.
The horse only competed twice before the two of them moved to Kentucky. Different state, same old crap....
